Terms of use.

These terms are an agreement between you and Another One LLC (“we”, “us”) covering the Knee Down game (the “game”) and this website. By downloading or playing the game you agree to them. The game is licensed to you through the App Store under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”); these terms add to it. If they conflict, the Standard EULA wins.

It’s a game

Knee Down teaches ideas from real riding technique, but it is entertainment, not riding instruction or training. Nothing in the game or on this site is professional advice. Riding a motorcycle is dangerous: get proper training, wear proper protective gear, ride on a closed course for track riding, obey the law, and ride within your limits. Don’t play while riding or driving.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the game on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store’s usage rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or distribute the game, except as the law allows.

In-game currency and items

Tokens, bikes, riders, upgrades and cosmetics are in-game content earned by playing. They have no real-world value, can’t be bought with or exchanged for money, and are licensed to you, not sold. We may rebalance the in-game economy in updates.

Online play

Online sessions run through Apple’s Game Center and SharePlay, or your local network, and are subject to Apple’s terms. Be decent: choose a display name that isn’t offensive or impersonating someone, and don’t cheat, harass or disrupt other riders. Online features may change or be unavailable from time to time.

Your photos

Photos you make in photo mode are yours to share for personal, non-commercial purposes. The game’s characters, bikes, logos and art remain ours.

Intellectual property

The game, its code, art, audio, characters, bikes, names and logos are owned by Another One LLC or its licensors. All bikes and riders are original creations; any resemblance to real products or people is unintended. Every circuit is fictional too. Apple, Mac, iPad, Apple Vision Pro, Game Center and SharePlay are trademarks of Apple Inc.

Updates and availability

We may update the game to add features, fix bugs or change content. Some features may need a recent OS version. We may stop offering the game, though we’ll try to give notice.

Disclaimers and liability

The game is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from real-world riding. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the game. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the game after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding its conflict-of-law rules.
